If you are reporting a water or wastewater problem, a District staff member will be notified and will come to the location to determine if the leak or stoppage is the responsibility of the District or the homeowner. If the situation is determined to be an emergency and is the responsibility of the District, our staff will tend to the problem as soon as possible. If it is determined that the situation is not an emergency, it may take several days for work to begin. The reason for this is that all utilities having facilities underground in the affected area must be notified and their lines must be marked in the vicinity before excavation begins. This can take several days.
